So, I hear a rumbling outside

And the dogs start barking their furry little heads off, so I go out to investigate.
Look what I found! There was a police escort and there were double the number you see here. I ran inside and got my point and shoot (couldn't find the SLR as it wasn't in its usual spot) and ran back out. Took a picture of everyone that went by.
































The driver of the Ford p/u bring up the rear told us that they were all headed to Lane, which is a peach packing shed that caters to tourists off the interstate by having a fancy gift shop and peach ice cream and has expanded to a restaurant and a corn maze and anything they can do to survive. I guess they're hosting old tractors today. If J and I have time, we might hop on a motorcycle and swing by there and see.

Yes, suburbia is creeping all around us, but this is a reminder that I still live in the country.
