This is Rufus on his way home from the vet's today after being diagnosed with a subluxated toe. Sofa rest for two weeks! For most dachshunds this wouldn't be difficult, but as Rufus is so very much ball obsessed, this will be slightly difficult. However, right now he's enjoying his invalid status and is on the most comfortable chair and growling at Astro, who really wants to do nothing more than join him in the chair and commiserate. Astro's attention is not welcome. Thankfully, Astro gets over rejection easily.
