Absolutely Brilliant

This video makes me smile. It's a gorgeous setting and I bet they had a lot of fun making it. It's an odd screen capture that You Tube selects when the vid is embedded. Anyway, don't let people jumping out of bushes deter you from clicking on it. Watch it and let me know if it doesn't make you smile, too.

No horse stuff this weekend to speak of. Well, no riding. I am going to Atlanta tomorrow to drop my Stubben Siegfried off at Atlanta Saddlery to be reflocked. I'm also going to do my part to help the economy as on my list of things to consider buying are paddock boots and half chaps, tall boots (my old dress boots are falling apart), a new bit for Asia, seat saver to put on my old Stubben that I'll use while the new Stubben is off getting its stuffing sorted out (and kids, my new Stubben was made sometime between 1962 and 1968, same as the old one, but it's newer to me and when I bought it almost three years ago, it had been unused for most of its life; my old Stubben I've owned for ::cough:: 32 years and my parents bought it used) as the old Stubben has no padding left in the seat and it's like sitting on a rock, saddle conditioner made by Stubben that the Stubben rep swears is the best thing since bottled beer and the only thing I should be using on my Stubbens and any other leather tack, and Ralph really needs new fly wraps as I can't find his old ones and he does not need to be stomping that left leg since he's got joint problems.

Oh yeah, these horses are black holes for my money.

Tomorrow afternoon I'm going to the High Museum to see the terracotta warriors.
