Snow of all sorts

It's snowing! Has been for about an hour, but we don't have much to show for it other than more mud. It's not sticking, but it's awfully wet stuff.

Lissan in his winter blanket as he was shivering this morning when it was pouring rain and the temps were falling. Look closely and you can discern some white, streaky stuff. That, my friends is the snow.

And here's RalphtheWonderPony in the snow. Ralph is made of sturdy stock for he is not shivering. Lissan points out that he is from Arabia and hello, white precipitation doesn't happen over there.

I'm just grateful that I don't have to prepare either one for the show ring.

Below is what I normally refer to when I say it's snowing in Georgia. This is Ralph shedding and three days ago I curried him after his dinner. Look at all that white, pony fur that I got out after less than ten minutes of effort.

I'll take that sort of snow any day. Oh, and Ralph has so much fur that even with the loss of that you see above, he is still toasty warm. I'll go check again in about an hour and make sure that he still doesn't need his Toklat turn out blanket. Lissan and I are both happy now that he's got a nice Schneiders' blanket to keep his Arab bones warm and toasty. www.sstack.com, btw. Enter coupon code "K" during checkout and get money off, usually about the cost of shipping. Good blankets at Schneiders.

And now, time for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich!

Stay toasty, peeps.
