How did you get to your polling place today?

This is my poor, neglected road bike. I rode her to Byron this evening to cast my vote in the primary. I had to pump up her tires and she had cobwebs on her brake levers. Trusty steed, she jumped at the chance to get out of the shop and onto the road.

I only had one truck get too close for comfort. It was a nice ride up even into a head wind. Woe.

My road bike now has a new sticker on its top tube. Poor, neglected road bike. She's had her one ride of the quarter. Back to fat tires tomorrow. Rode fat last night, too. No annoying cars and trucks out on the Thomson trail.

We have baby birds in our garage. They are Carolina wrens. Can you see them? There are three babies in the nest. This is the second nest we've had and the adult wrens are so tiny they can wiggle through a gap between the garage door and the house when the door is shut.
