I'm taking part in Reverb 10, a daily chance to reflect on this year and manifest what's next. Here's the first prompt:
December 1 One Word.
Encapsulate the year 2010 in one word. Explain why you’re choosing that word. Now, imagine it’s one year from today, what would you like the word to be that captures 2011 for you?
(Author: Gwen Bell)
Gosh, this is easy and just see the entry from early this morning and that word is CHANGE. I've changed my life and the life of someone I love dearly with a decision to end our journey together. It's the toughest decision I've ever made. I'm nowhere near the end of the change. I'm examining everything about my life right now: who I am, what is fundamental, where do I need to be, what changes do I need to make to get there.
One year from now, what word would I like to be the one that captures 2011 for me? I want to be centered, which I think is a reaction to all this change. I want to know that I am heading in the right direction for me, and I will only find that direction by listening to my center, finding what is essential, and figuring out how to make this work for me.
