Come for the heat, stay for the humidity

Riding this morning in Dooly County

We set out this morning at 9:00 a.m. and it was already in the 80's, but there was a breeze blowing and in the shade it wasn't bad.

Gray Mare, Smoochie Boots and Raven. All giant horses. Asia was dwarfed.

The obligatory picture at the lake. It's our favorite spot to pose.

It's a bit blurry, but squint and you can discern that it's Asia and me jumping over some hay bales in the pecan orchard.

We finished at 11:30 and it was quite nasty. All horses hosed off and turned out with plenty of water, grass, and hay while we retired to showers, shorts, and cold, adult beverages.
