Tonight I went in search of Chet Atkins and Mark Knopfler on YouTube. I was hoping to find a video of There'll Be Some Changes Made. Not quite, but close:

I could listen to this over and over and in the last 15 years, I certainly have.

Then I remembered this song.

That sure looks like Mark Knopfler in the purple shirt holding a guitar sitting behind him.

And then I spent 45 minutes listening to Chet play, sometimes with Doc Watson and other times with Les Paul or Jerry Reed. Then I noticed this link:


Tis late and the internet has kept me entertained for too long and up too late. I owe several of you emails...soon, I promise. Tonight I intended to write, but guitar pickers kept me mesmerized.
