Walk in the woods

I took the dogs to Thomson today for an hour walk and there was the usual doggie glee. Turns out the trail was almost dry, so I could have taken my bike, but had I done that, well, I wouldn't have carried the Canon. John's in Italy (again) and he has the tiny Sony camera that fits in my riding skort pocket. The Canon, being SLR, is huge. No fitting in a pocket at all, so I don't think I'll ever carry it bike riding.

Have you noticed my fascination with trees? This one caught my eye.


And then I have this thing about mosses. The trail opens up and in this clearing there are all these mossy bits scattered among the pine needles.
