Look! Up in the sky!!

Did you know that there's a space station overhead? There is and it flies over quite regular and you can go out and see it, which is what we did tonight. Craig, Carrie, Dave, John and I walked out into the horse pasture at 9:00 p.m. (after we demolished two, large pizzas and made inroads into a chocolate cake that Diana brought by) and while Asia wondered what the heck we were doing out there at that time of night, we craned our necks back and peered into the clouds. It was quite cloudy and we didn't think we'd see it, but then we did. Glee!! We watched it move from the northeast to the southwest and then disappear behind the clouds. It's a large, blinking thing. It's so large that you'll be surprised that it doesn't make a whoosh noise and you won't mistake it for a plane, oh no. It's the space station. Isn't that cool?

Want to see it for yourself? Go here: http://www.n2yo.com/?s=25544

In the time it took me to type that paragraph above, it moved from Paraguay to the South Atlantic. Didn't I tell you it was fast?

That's pretty cool. It's amazing what you can experience if you just take a few minutes to look up at the sky.
