Greetings from Rio, which is where we are now. Since I've got wifi in the hotel room, so I'm finally sending out pictures. We've been here since 27 February, we've got lots, so I've put about 60+ on my Flickr site. Go here:

We've got another day and a half in Brazil and we're sad to be leaving. Our time with Jann and Stefan in Porto Alegra was fantastic. They took us all over southern Brazil and we rafted a river, saw Brazil's version of the Grand Canyon, visited the beach, ate a lot of meat, and of course Jann and I rode horses. We rode her boy, Vento, but we also got to ride several Criallos and I'm in love with the breed. I didn't get any pics of the ride we did on two, gorgeous Criallo stallions that we took out for several hours and all at a gallop. Well, not all of it, but a large part of it. John and Stefan visited a car museum and rode bikes and listened patiently while Jann and I prattled on and on and on about horses. Today John went hang gliding. He jumped off a perfectly good mountain not once, but twice. Aaiiieee! I thought I might do it, too, until I looked off the platform and the beach was way, way down there. Way, way down there, 1,600 feet down there. I decided that I'd take pictures instead.
We've had a really good time. Reality returns when we board Delta on Wednesday night and get back to Georgia Thursday morning. Work looms on the horizon on Friday.
I can't tempt you with a picture for Blogger is being problematic and refusing to add a photo. GAH! The internetz, it's crazy sometimes.
