Water Dog

Jack has turned into a bona fide water dog. I've been taking him to the Ocmulgee River regularly and he now plunges in when we get there, then races up the shallows looking for sticks. It's a great way for us both to get exercise and stay cool, although today it was only 84 when we got there and it felt downright balmy after the recent highs in the upper 90s with heat indices in the 100s.

The view back towards the boat ramp we use to access the river. We walk about a 1/4 mile up to this sandbar, which always has an excellent selection of sticks.
