Sparky

Tuesday night at 8:15: I spoke to the vet tonight and found out that she is barely hanging on and still has the distinction of being the sickest dog at UGA. A sick dog is a live dog is the spin I'm putting on it. A couple of times today were very scary, but she pulled through and it's been a long day for everyone who has been working on her, and apparently there have been a lot of medical personnel working to save Sparky. They have her on many different BP meds and were able to insert a huge catheter in her neck to administer all the drugs and fluids, so they could remove all the lies in. The vet is hoping that she just needs time to get her immune system working again and to start producing white blood cells. Thank you for all the good karma and please don't let up. It's greatly needed.
