Sparky
Sparky has survived starvation and rattle snake bite, but now she's fighting for her life at UGA's vet school tonight. The chemotherapy last week knocked her immune system so low that she's fighting a nasty infection and the vet is not optimistic. I had to leave her there and return to Macon tonight. Please, send good karma thoughts for us both. I really don't know how I will make it without this dog.

Kate, thanks so much. No phone call overnight from UGA, so that's a good sign. Fingers crossed.
If you look at who is supporting you during this health crisis, you will see the same people who will support you when Sparky has four legs and eats people food all day in dog heaven, whenever that happens.
Katherine, I am blessed with good friends and for that I am ever so grateful.
