Kathleen, I'm sorry I haven't commented for a while--I still read your posts when they come up in my dashboard, but I've been wicked busy. Trying to teach myself Excel this weekend so I can apply for a full-time job much closer to home, and my brain is bleeding.
Happy to hear the news and so glad she's feeling better! (And I was listening to NPR the other day about the Susan Komen thing and feeling the same indignation.)
Thank you, Fetlock! I'm glad to hear that you're alive, if wicked busy. I do hope you're successful in teaching yourself Excel and that you get that full time job closer to home. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Post and update us when you get a chance. I had wondered, but didn't want to be a busybody or internet stalker. ;p
"My life has a brilliant cast, but I can't figure out the plot." ~Ashleigh Brilliant Yep, that just about sums it up.
"Perhaps the final test of anybody's love of dogs is their willingness to permit them to make a camping ground of the bed." -Henry T. Merwin
"I only went out for a walk and finally concluded to stay out till sundown, for going out, I found, was really going in." ~John Muir
"People say that what we’re all seeking is a meaning for life. I don’t think that’s what we’re really seeking. I think that what we’re seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances with our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive.” ~Joseph Campbell's The Power of Myth
