Jim on Bayley and I'm on Raven. We rode down to the lake, about an hour ride from Jim's house. Grant took these pics on the dam, which is where I always pose horses and riders for their picture.
Asia and I take a short spin around my tiny pasture. I've not been riding Asia much as I've been riding Raven on the weekends, but there's a good chance I'll get to take Asia either cubbing with Bear Creek or hunting with Midland in two weeks, so I thought I'd better get on her. I could critique this shot 1,000 ways to Sunday, but I won't. It's been months and months since we've been to Corrie's for a lesson. When I win the lottery, we're taking lots of lessons. Until then, well, to expect miracles when we've not been practicing? Not realistic, so I'll take happy. I'm happy to be riding my lovely mare.
John and his new, 2-post lift. If you're a car guy, this is the bees' knees. Come back soon and I'll post a picture of a car on the lift. We've put the '87 Buick up on it and I captured it on film, but not in this download. The '87 went all the way up and then came all the way back down. It's an amusement ride for cars.
Listening to Jeff Buckley sing Hallelujah. I cannot get enough of this version. Need to do laundry and consider braving Krogers for groceries, but the internet is just so appealing. In a sec I'll go feed the ponies and the dogs and consider what I'm feeding us. I have cheese. Life is good.
