Found this beautiful fungus growing on logs on the Thomson trail. I had to stop and take a picture. I love, love, love being in the woods.   Global warming has an upside and it's that I was out on December 9th in a skort and short sleeved jersey and was fine. Not cold at all. 

Centerville, in an inspired move, started allowing beer sales on Sunday.  After two times around Thomson, we met at Meldino's and had a beer.  I also had a calzone. Very good and probably a mistake as it will make having the healthier salad that much harder next time we go.  We weren't the only ones there enjoying a libation. The place had quite a few customers all ordering beer. It's scary how many folks drink Bud Light.  

The Arrogant Bastard supply is running low. Shane is plotting a road trip to anywhere to buy more.  Good man.
